UNC History Community,

Happy November! Here’s some exciting Digital History news for this week:

  1. The National Council for Public History created a Digital History Directory to connect people with tools to make their own projects, see examples of digital history, and even submit their work to be displayed on the website.
  2. Unsure how to implement mapping in your DH work? Check out some examples from Boston College faculty, including the histories of Venice and France.
  3. Faith Hillis, a professor at the University of Chicago, is creating a digital cartography to accompany her most recent publication.

Make sure to contact the Digital History Lab if there are any skills you want to learn, need support with your own digital history projects, or are interested in our blog and/or podcast!

The DHL Team (Ash, Cameron, Emma, & Craig)
