Join us on Tuesday, February 4, at 5pm in Hamilton 423, to participate in the first DHL Transcribe-A-Thon of the semester. We will work together to contribute to an exciting ongoing project, Freedom on the Move, which is designed to transcribe thousands of advertisements for runaway enslaved people in the United States. The project is designed to aid academic researchers, teachers, and genealogists. A laptop will be necessary to participate in the Transcribe-A-Thon. Pizza will be served.
