Transcrib-athon
Join the Lab at UNC History and the Graduate History Society in collaboration with the Marion Cheek Jackson Center for a transcrib-athon! Led by graduate students Nicholas Sifford and Kate McHugh, students can help transcribe oral histories collected by the Jackson center. Students should bring a laptop and headphones to work.
We hope to see you Monday, March 24 in Pauli Murray (Hamilton) Room 569 whenever you can stop by! Food will be provided.
Virtual Heritage Idaho |

A $5,000 grant from the National Trust for Historic Preservation kickstarted Preservation Idaho‘s development of an innovative digital platform showcasing the state’s architectural heritage through interactive maps and virtual tours. |
The Virtual Heritage Idaho project will utilize Geographic Information System (GIS) technology to create story maps that allow users to explore historic sites and neighborhoods throughout the state virtually.” |
Finding Funding Opportunities |
This online class will cover the basics of researching funding opportunities and is intended for students, faculty, or staff who would like to learn more about funding databases available at UNC. Participants will identify and search funding databases, including UNC’s Funding Information Portal, InfoEd Global SPIN Plus, and Dimensions. |
This workshop is offered by the University Libraries Health Sciences Library and led by Katherine Howell. |
