UNC History Community,

We hope you all are doing well this week. Here’s your fix of digital history:

  1. The Digital History Lab is hosting a Digital Writing workshop on November 12th at noon. Hear from DHL staff and a recent graduate on how to use websites and blogs in your digital humanities projects. Email dhl@unc.edu for the zoom link and we hope to see you there!
  2. The Montana Historical Society has finished their oral history project Voices of Labor: Preserving the Montanans at Work; Metals Manufacturing in Four Montana Communities; and New Deal in Montana Oral History Interviews Project after nearly three years of research.
  3. Wilson Library is returning to one of their digital history projects sixteen years after it was started in order to “reconstruct the lived experiences of enslaved individuals at and around the University.”

Make sure to contact the Digital History Lab if there are any skills you want to learn, need support with your own digital history projects, or are interested in our blog and/or podcast!

Thanks for reading,

The DHL Team (Ash, Cameron, Emma, & Craig)
