UNC History Community,

Happy Monday! Here’s your fix of digital history for the week:

  1. Curious about how to get started on your own digital history projects? The American Historical Associationrecorded one of their workshops from 2014 to help DH beginners.
  2. California State University San Marcos has uploaded digital history projects from their undergraduate and masters students. Topics include “The History of San Marcos” and “Southern California and Civil War Memories.”
  3. The German Historical Institute Washington has compiled a series of German digital histories, utilizing letters, photos, and biographies as resources.
  4. We are hosting a workshop on StoryMapsJS in classroom on October 6th at 3pm on Zoom. Hope to see you there!

Make sure to contact the Digital History Lab if there are any skills you want to learn, need support with your own digital history projects, or are interested in our blog and/or podcast!

Thanks for reading,

The DHL Team (Ash, Cameron, Emma, & Craig)
