Join us on Tuesday, November 19, from 5-6:30pm in Hamilton 452, to participate in the second in a series of DHL Transcribe-A-Thons. We will work together to contribute to an exciting ongoing Zooniverse project, The American Soldier, which is designed to transcribe 65,000 records of the Army Research Branch, which interviewed approximately half a million individuals during WWII. The project managers describe these sources as “a remarkable collection of written reflections on war and military service by American soldiers who served during the Second World War.” A laptop will be necessary to participate in the Transcribe-A-Thon. Pizza will be served.

This event is co-sponsored by PWAD. If you have any questions, e-mail us at dhl@unc.edu.
